About us

Anita Goetthans

I trained as a teacher and taught for many years in Germany, the USA, New Zealand, Turkey, Japan, and Uruguay. I also studied American Literature which laid the foundation for my interest in literary projects. In 2002 I completed my Master of Professional Studies in Translation (First Class Honours) at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Since then I have been working as a free-lance translator and interpreter. For over 10 years I was a lecturer  at AUT, Auckland University of Technology, in the Centre for Translation and Interpreting where I trained translators and interpreters from all kinds of cultural back-grounds.
